What Causes Leg Lines With Spots, Itching And Lumps?

I have just developed some long streak red lines on both my legs, some kind of little small dots. Were very itchy at first for a few moments. Not really itchy anymore. But red lines and dots can be seen. There were also small bumps like at first. Thanks Judy

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hi

Sudden development of red itchy linear lesions bound be suggestive of an insect bite reaction ,also called vector dermatitis.
Such an allergic reaction needs to be managed by application of topical steroid cream .
Oral antihistamines can help in controlling itching .
Do not apply any other cream or oil over the affected area.
See your nearby dermatologist for proper assessment and treatment if the condition tends to persist.
