What Causes Left-sided Pulsating And Burning Sensation On The Ear, Neck And Shoulder?

Hi, I have been shakey for the last couple days and have had a strange thumping sensation in my upper left side with soreness in that area through my ear, neck, shoulder. I feel really tired and flu like with heavy nausea and very little appetite. Out of all these symptoms though the thumping and burning sensation is most intense. Any ideas?

Hello,

It may be due to tension headache or cervical spondylosis with radiculopathy or occipital neuralgia or secondary to hypertension or pulsatile tinnitus may present like this.

So check your blood pressure and check your neck. Check for hemoglobin status and ear examination.

Avoid stress related activities. do yoga and meditation regularly. If symptoms not improved please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
