What Causes Left-sided Pain In The Buttocks After A Hamstring Injury?

I lifted a heavy container and just about fell, but I managed to stay upright but I felt a painful pull in my left buttock, since then sitting, bending, walking is very painful. All hamstring injuries refer to leg pain, mine is strickly in my buttock area?

Hi,

This could be a nerve pain. Hamstring pain is not localized to buttocks. You can start neurotrophic medications.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Anuj Gupta,
