What Causes Left Arm Numbness After Stent Placement In An Artery?

Hey Dr. Prabhakar, I am contacting in regard to my dad he had heart attack last Wednesday and had a stent put into his right coronary artery. He is now feeling numbness in his left arm. I told him to go to the hospital to have it checked out. What do you think this could be. Blood clot?

I really appreciate your concern, if this is the history of numbness in arm so it may not be due to angioplasty and neither it is due to any clot but it could be due to poor posture, may be cervical disc compression, ask him try to have right posture during sleep hope this information helps.
