Hi,I am Dr. Subhankar Chakraborty (Gastroenterologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
my 5 year old son fell off a swing 3 weeks ago. He landed on his bottom and back. He turned on to his stomach and was crying, then he blacked out and started convulsing. I removed his face from the sand and placed him on his side. Within less than a minute he woke distressed. The week following this he was complaining of rectal pain and was to scared to go to the toilet because it hurt. He has never experienced constipation before. No change in diet. Today he started leaking from his bottom. not needing to go to the toilet he would be just playing When he did eventually go to the toilet the liquid was clear, runny and a bit gassy. Could he have damaged his bowel in the fall?
