What Causes Laryngitis, Sinus Congestion And Mild Headache Despite Taking Mucinex?

I have viral symptoms, cold, sinus congestion, slight headach, laryngitis, no fever, swollen neck glands, but just notice a warm chest rash. Ive had viral symptoms before but never a chest rash. I have taken mucinex d, ibuprofen and Airborne. Im not certain if I should go to doctor or not.

Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain it seems like upper respiratory tract infection also known as Common Cold and all symptoms are indicating the same..
You should take a short course of antibiotics like Augmentin or Azithromycin to prevent secondary Bacterial infection.
Continue taking Ibuprofen for pain and inflammation and Mucinex d for cough and congestion and airborne that is Vitamin C as it helps in improvement of immunity..
Of there is phlegm formation also you can take mucolytics like Ambroxol, do warm saline gargles, steam inhalation, use a humidifier in your room and do warm compresses over chest..
You can apply a Steroid ointment over the rash..
In case if still there is no improvement consult an Otolaryngologist and get evaluated..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards..
