What Causes Large Painful Lump Near The Anus?

Had it checked really quickly it seemed like to me by a Dr. he said it was just a little cyst. well with in the past couple of days, that lil cyst has grown and is getting painful. It is inside, just above my anus and is now about the size of a large grape, when it s normally been about the size of a pea ? ? ?

Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
What you are complaining of large painful lump near anus, which has increased in size, appears to be bacterial infection of the skin like furruncle or boil.
Kindly take the following measures to overcome the problem:
1. Make sure that you maintain good personal hygiene by washing the area with mild antiseptic solution like Povidine or Savlon.
2. You need to take a course of oral antibiotics containing Amoxacillin and Clavalunic acid.
3. Take analgesic medication like Ibuprofen after food for pain. You can use Neomycin cream for topical application.
Gradually your symptoms should get better. Kindly consult Surgeon and get a per-rectal examination done to make sure there are no lesions inside such as anal fissures or fistula.
