Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Large Bruises On Lower Right Side Of Stomach And Pelvic Area?
a few days ago I was doing some heavy lifting. I noticed a few large bruises a couple days ago on my lower right side of my stomach almost pelvic area. Yesterday and today I feel a dull achy almost deep bruise sensation but only when I am sitting or bending over and not when I am standing or laying down. Do I need to worry about this? I am unable to take NSAIDS.
It seems to be muscular strain pain and for that anti-inflammatory drug can be prescribed. Kindly let me know the reason why you cannot take NSAID. Is there any allergy or bleeding tendency problem?
Avoid strenuous activities and take rest for few days.
Hot compress can be applied over the affected part.
Mostly you will recover in five days.
You can consult a nearby physician for detailed evaluation.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Parth Goswami, General & Family Physician
