What Causes Large And Small Red Spots On The Uvula And Roof Of The Mouth?
Hi.I have one big red dot on my uvula and a few smaller ones going up towards the roof of my mouth. I have no other symptoms but they itch from time to time. I have no fever or other rashes or anything and my tonsils are not swollen. All thougj i had a sinus virez a few days ago. Thank you.
I have gone through your query and can understand your concern..
As per your complain red spot on the uvula and multiple small red spots on the roof of mouth along with a recent history of sinus infection are pointing towards infection in throat secondary to post nasal drip..
Nothing to worry, you should start doing warm saline gargles, steam inhalations.. You should consult an ENT expert and get evaluated and he can advise you a course of antibiotics like Augmentin or Azithromycin along with anti inflammatory painkillers like Ibuprofen and also chew a Vitamin C pellet daily.. You can avoid very hot and spicy foods and drink plenty of water..
Hope this helps..
Regards.
