General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello
Your gynecologist advise you dydrogesterone ( duphaston) for 5 days and you took these tablets , still there is menstrual cycle .
Now , still no menses and when it will take place .
Since you are a patient of PCOS and this is the characteristic feature of pcos that there develop irregular menstrual cycle , scanty menses , so it is very difficult to say when there will be menses .
In my opinion first of all take complete treatment for pcos as sometimes cysts can be taken care of by oral birth control pills . So in my opinion consult your gynecologist and take a treatment for pcos.
Once your pcos will be cured , menses will be normal.
Good luck.
