What Causes Lack Of Appetite And Fatigue While On Fluconazole?

My husband was recently diagnosed with cryptococcal lung infection and also has a brain lesion from the same. Also, has many joint issues with pain. He is on 200 mg fluconazole tablets twice a day. My son feels this is not a very strong medicine as it is also used to treat vaginal yeast infections. My husband is having increased cough, lack of appetite and increased weakness and fatigue since he began this medicine. Is my son correct?

well.... often people take intravenous medicine for this condition. there are many effects brain infection and loss of appetite could certainly be one.
