What Causes Knees To Give Way?

So tonight i was at work and when i bent over to pick something up i just fell to the ground and it felt like my knee just gave out when i got back up i couldnt really hear anything for about 10-15 seconds and i didnt really have anything strenght for about 5 minutes and my knee hurts like crazy and im kind of still limping when i walk what does this mean

Hi,

The pain and limp could be there for about a week. Just take a pain killer. If the pain is too severe and unable to walk then get an X-ray. But as you mentioned you were walking, there is no need of an X-ray also. Just pain killer will reduce it.
