What Causes Knee Veins Prominence With Pain?

I have veins in the back of my left knee that have been popped out for awhile but here the past couple days they have started hurting I wanna know how serious it is. I currently dont have insurance will in the next few months is it something that can wait until then to be checked out. I am 24 years old 6'1'' tall and wiegh about 320lbs

Read and reviewed your query and health concerns.
You seems to suffer from-Varicose Veins of Short Saphenous System.
The hurting started lately,is due to incompetent Venous valve in the perforator Vein.
The matter definitely needs to be attended,but could be managed conservatively till insurance cover is received.
Do's Suggested-
Consult Vascular Surgeon
Get USG and Color Doppler to assess the extent of the knee prominent Veins and its pains.
Reduce the Weight till that time.
Get the Venostockings and control the pain from prominent Veins.

Prominence of veins behind the knee can be due to localised varicose veins or it can be due to varicosity of short saphenous system.You should consult your doctor.
