What Causes Jumping Rope With Back Problems?

I injured myself while doing boot camp. My lower back feels heavy upon getting out of bed. But as the day go on it get better. I went to get a MRI which showed a bulging disc. I continually do a workout but it involves jumping rope, should I be jumping rope at all?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I recommend to avoid jumping rope at all while having a bulging disc. You can try instead other exercises such as pilates or yoga.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
