What Causes Joint And Muscle Pains All Over The Body?

Hello. In the last 4 or 5 days I ve been having joint and muslce(but mostly joint) pains. They spread from hands to feet and sometimes knees, wrists. The pains usually dont stay for more than a day before they move to different toes or a different foot etc. Is this something I should be converned about?

I think you are having post viral fever arthralgia , it may follow even a very minor episode and some time we may not even noticed that we had any fever. I would suggest you to take Brufen tablet for pain relief and maintain good hydration. Do not work hard or move around. If this pain improves in 2 to 3 days then its ok otherwise we have to investigate this further by checking ESR, CRP and Ra factor . If Brufen is not sufficient to take care of the pain then you can take other strong antiinflammatory like Piroxicam after discussing with your doctor.
