What Causes Joint Ache Along With Sensitive And Painful Skin?

This is now 4 days that I ve had these symptoms: aching joints, skin very sensitive to touch (painful), low grade fever, I can t seem to get comfortable in any position. Headache, but only when I reach down. I ve been alternating between acetaminophen and ibuprofen every 4 hours. It seems to get better, and then a few hours later it hits me again. I get chills just before it hits again. No appetite.

Hello,

I would like to give you some tests:

1. Complete Blood Count
2. Western Blot and ELISA for Borrelia.
3. Antinuclear antibody (ANA) testing and anti-extractable nuclear antigen (anti-ENA)
4. USG of joint

I would like you to start this medication:

1. Pregabalin 75 mg orally twice a day for 1 week
2. Doxycycline 100 mg orally twice a day for 28 days
3. For fever-like feel, Paracetamol 500mg when needed

Follow these guidelines:

1. Eat light diet
2. Drink enough juice and water
3. Take rest as much as possible.
4. Do not delay the tests
5. Inform here in HCM if you have any other symptoms.
