What Causes Itchy Swelling In Bruised Toe Nail?
I fell and badly bruised a toe one month ago. I was able to walk so I didn t go to the doctor to check for a fracture. The section of my toe around the nail bed is still swollen and discolored and has started itching terribly. What is causing that? Should it take this long to heal?

I really appreciate your concern and looking to the history given here I would say that if this is the toe injury and discolored the area then this need to be taken care for infection otherwise this would come around and the chances of getting off the nail would be likely later on, take care and have a nice day.
