What Causes Itchy Spots On Penis?

My name is Tyrone age 22 i have a problem that seems to be occurring on my penis every couple months, i tend to have red spots on my penis gland. There is a slight itch but not intense. Most recently it has returned and I m a hypochondriac so when things like this happen I tend to worry. Is this an STI? Should i be worried?

Such symptoms of recurrent itching spots on penis can be seen in diverse conditions like friction rash , lichen planus ,eczema , contact dermatitis , psoriasis, diabetes , STD .
Treating the primary condition is important but for relief you should rinse the skin well with luke warm water and should cool compress , it will give you immediate relief .
I would suggest you to consult Dermatologist /venerologist for further evaluation as treatment is different for different conditions and definitive diagnosis is essential for starting a specific proper treatment .
