What Causes Itchy Red Painful Spot On Forearm?

Sure- I have a large red painful spot on my forearm with small, itchy, weepy blister-type rash there. It covers about 4 sq inches of my arm, the blisters itch like crazy, and the then have liquid in them when scratched. The whole spot is slightly raised and very sore. Definitely not poison ivy.

Hi,
I have read your query carefully.
The red, itchy rash on your forearm is mostly due to allergic reaction to something comming in contact with the skin, may be some insect bite.
clean the skin with clean water, apply local cortisone ointment . If needed you can add an antiinflammataty pill( Ibuprofen- paracetamol ) with anti allergic pill ( Levocetrizine ) after food. With this it should go within a couple of days.
In case it does not consult a skin specialist.
Thanks.
