What Causes Itchy Red Circles On Legs While Suffering With Mild Venous Insufficiency?

i have been diagnosed with mild venous insufficiency , my symptoms have been edema, dermatitis stasis, skin discoloration , pain, legs feel heavy and tired all the time, . today i noticed after my shower in the afternoon that i have two itchy red circles in my lower leg of diferent sizes one being 1cm in diameter. im wondering if this is related to my mvi

Yes. You are right. The venous stasis can cause itching in the legs and all your symptoms could be plainly related to that. The red circles are a result of that as well. You need to be careful not to itch too much. Use a plain towel to rub if need be. Take an antihistamine like cetrizine. It helps with the itching. Locally all you need to is keep the area clean and wash with salt water. Use your compression stockings. It will sort the problem. If unattended to it can lead to a chronic non healing ulcer for some patients.
