What Causes Itchy Red Bumps On The Lower Back?

I have a couple red itchy bumps on my lower back, swollen lymph nodes, my throat isn t sore but on one side it feels as if I m sick. I have had a problem with my jaw for the last 4 weeks, I had an xray for TMD but everything showed fine. The pain feels as if it s more inside my gums then my jaw. I can t open my mouth as far as usual. Not sure??

Pathologist and Microbiologist 's  Response
Hello,

Swollen lymph nodes and sore throat suggest throat infection which has led to swelling of lymph nodes. I suggest you to consult your primary health care provider for clinical assessment and prescription of antibiotics.

Inability to open mouth suggests a problem in the temporal - mandibular joint.I suggest you to consult an oral maxillofacial surgeon.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shailja Puri,
