What Causes Itchy Red Bumps On The Anal Area After Vaginal Intercourse?

Hi, im a female and i usually shave my pubic hairs both front and back and never had an issue except for slight itching once in a while and then goes away in a day. Ive been with this guy for a few years and is my only sexual partner. We had sex about a week ago and just in the past several days ive gotten these unbearable itchy burning red bumps around my anal area but i only have vaginal intercourse. Ive been doing my best to clean it with soap and water and i just bought cortizone to relive some of the pain. Do you know what this might be?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

The multiple itchy red bumps on the anal area can be considered as possible human papilloma virus (HPV) infestation which can be possible even with vaginal intercourse. A detailed physical examination is mandatory to get best possible diagnosis and cure accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
