I have a 5 yr old daughter who has been complaining of itchy skin (mainly on her back) and has developed a white rash of hives the last two nights. The rash and itching disappear with a small dose of Benadryl but she has now begun complaining of painful feet. When I removed her socks, she has very visable red swelling near the arches of her feet and they are hot to the touch. She has complained they are sore, even when we have not been walking. She does have a bit of a cold but and has a very bad cough right now but has not had a fever.
