Hi Vibhas. Treating hives can be a real challenge at times as no culprit is identified in many cases. See hives are allergic manifestation to something ingested/ inhaled or comes in contact. You can imagine how tough it can be to identify an allergen. Regarding your management, how often does hives appear? daily? Any precipitating factors identified? Please provide details. Meanwhile, take tablet containing levocetrizine and montelukast combination daily. Avoid bottled/ canned/ packed food items. Avoid NSAIDs (Brufen, combiflam, Ibugesic etc) for pain relief; take tramadol (Ultracet) instead. If nothing helps, consult a dermatologist for ASST and AST. Hope it helps.
