What Causes Itchy Rashes All Over Body Inspite Of Using Amoxicillin?
My 2 year old daughter is covered in a rash and now has a pea size bump behind her ear. My older son (6) tested positive for strep with a rash. My daughter tested negative for strep on Saturday. Very itchy rash all over her body. Doc put her on amoxicillin (what my son is on with much success) to be safe but it s not getting better. Help!

Hi,
This rash can sometimes develop when a child is on Amoxicillin and may have a virus in addition to the strep throat. The synthetic penicillin can cause a rash when exposed to ANY virus!
