What Causes Itchy Rash Across The Abdomen?
Hello. I was in a car accident about four weeks ago. I had bruises from my seat belt. The bruises have gone away but I now have an itchy rash in the same place across my abdomen. Is this common or should I have it check by a doctor? I have been applying bio oil to it twice a day which seems to help the itchiness but it doesn t seem to be going away. Thanks!

I really appreciate your concern, history of rash may not be due to the history of accident but this could be different condition and this may be due to hypersensitivity, and this can be tried with "Beclomethasone cream" and this is nothing to worry, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
