What Causes Itchy Pimples On Penis?

Hi sir, this is naveen chandra, I m 24 years old. I have some small pimples on my pennies and there I m getting etching, please tell me why I get this type of problem and how will I recover from this problem. Please tell me sir is there any problem in future

Hello Naveen, and thanks for using HCM.

There are a few potential diagnoses for these itchy pimples:

1. Herpes lesions can appear like pimples on the penis and herpes is an STD, meaning that you need to treat it quickly and prevent it from spreading.
2. Genital warts may also appear like pimples and are caused by the HPV virus - these warts can be itchy and will gradually increase in number unless treated.
3. Molluscum contagiosum is a viral infection which can also appear like bumps on the penis. These bumps can also be very itchy.
You need to see a doctor as soon as possible and let him or her examine you and treat you accordingly. All the above conditions are treatable, but not with over the counter medicine.

I understand that it can be embarrassing but do remember that doctors see these all the time and it is our job to help our patients recover and prevent spread of disease.
