What Causes Itchy Lump Under Jaw?

Hi,I have a lump under my jaw roughly below my ear. First it hurt, now not as much. It s been about 4 days now. Now even my jawline feels numb to touch and I feel like it itches but I can t scratch it due to the numb sensation. Any help as to what it could be?

Hi.
As per your case history you are having tinea barbae.
My treatment advice is -
1. Don't squeeze the lesions as it may worsen the condition.
2. Apply an antifungal cream like clotrimazole cream twice daily on it.
3. Take an antihistamine medication like levocetrizine twice daily for 7-10 days.
4. Other treatment options are oral antibiotics, oral fluconazole taken only after consulting a dermatologist.
