What Causes Itchy Large Mole On Side Of Face?

I have a large, light-colored mole on the side of my face. It itches and it has cracked completely through, but has not bled. I saw my GP about it and he said it wasn't a problem. I can't get an appointment with my dermatologist until March. Meanwhile it itches and I think I am scratching it in my sleep. Any advice?

Hello Welcome to the HCM,
Brief answer..it could be allergy or dryness.
Detailed answer...Some time allergy or dryness on particular area of skin can cause itching on that area. You may use diphenhydramine ointment on it.And do not use soap for some days.Moisturize your skin well before sleeping.
Hopefully my answer will be helpfull for you.
