Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have a super itchy skin rash on my upper right arm. Sometimes it s fine and seems to go away but then it comes back in the same spot. It itches really bad and bumps appear. It s red right not but I m not sure where it s coming from as the rash is in a random spot. Any thoughts?
I am sorry for the health problems you are going through.
You say to have super itchy spot in the upper right arm. Can you please send a photo of that itchy spot to me? So I can evaluate the redness myself?
Do you notice any site similar to insect bite? Any white headed pimple?
It could be a case of chronic urticaria if persistent for more than 6 weeks.
For the moment, I advise to: - avoid scratching the affected area - take oral antihistamine (e.g. loratadine or benadryl) - apply anti itch cream locally
All the best. Dr.Albana
