What Causes Itchy Bumps On The Scrotum?

My son said he has bumps on his scrotum. He is 12. I googled the symptoms and came up with fordyce spots...I showed him an image and he said that is what it looked like...only problem is that it says they don t itch and he s having quite a bit of itching.

He already must have the hormonal changes, that causing the spots on the scrotum,
These spots on the scrotal skin are not Fordyce as they occur at the shaft or base of penis and never on the scrotal skin.
The ones on the scrotal skin are called sebaceous cysts,
There is no specific treatment and is not needed./ Tell your son that this is normal appearance and removal is not needed.
