What Causes Itchy Brown Rash Under And Between Breasts?
Hi. First of all tahnks for responding..im an Indian female ,it started with jus itching under and between breasts and underarms...after a few days i notice that the area scartched has turned brownish .like a rash..now it turns that color wherever i itch..
A rash between the breasts and below the underarms could be due to a number of causes - like a simple fungal infection/intertrigo (partly due to sweat getting accumulated in these areas where the skin folds are close together) or a mild eczematous condition (like something called 'seborrheic dermatitis'). It would be a bit difficult to give a specific diagnosis without direct examination or at least an image. It would be best to show a dermatologist to get a good opinion. Till then I would suggest using a antifungal powder (like ABZORB) twice daily over the areas (which helps keep the area dry and also will control any fungal infection over the site to some extent). Hope this helps.
