What Causes Itchy Anus And Greenish Stool Discharge?

51 year old male. I have had for the past month a very itchy anus in the evenings/early morning. My stool for the last 2 days has been green. Any connection between the two and what could this possibly be the cause? Non-smoker, excercise 3-4 times a week, drink a couple of beers a night.
