What Causes Itchy And Swollen Eyelids?

Starting today at the grass field me and some kids were playing in the grass and my face rolled into the grass and ever since my eye has been getting worse and worse itchy red swallon and the lower eyelid the one on the bottom the inside is peeling and I m really scared what Is going on

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

You are having an allergic reaction to the contact with the grass.

Treatment would involve the use of oral anti histamines such as benadryl, claritine, allegra, zyrtec. These are all over the counter medications.
Benadryl may be the best option, the older antihistamines sometimes work faster. Should be taken as frequently as allowed by dosing for 24 to 48 hours at least.


If the anti histamines alone are not enough, you may need to steroids.
