What Causes Itchy And Sore Throat Along With Inner Ear Pain?

Last night I fell asleep with the window open, the window is right above my bed where my head is and I woke up this morning with a really bad itch in my throat, I was coughing non stop and now I have a bad soar throat with deep inner ear pain when I swallow, eat, drink, or even talk what could this be? And should I goto the ER?

Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

As per your query it seems that you have got an infection in throat and ear which can be bacterial or viral in nature and due to infection there is itchiness and soreness in throat and ear..
The infection in er is due to communication between the ear and the throat via Eustachian tube..
You should take antibiotics like Augmentin or Azithromycin for 5 days.
Take anti-inflammatory painkillers like Ibuprofen or Naproxen.
Do warm saline gargles.
Do steam inhalations and use a humidifier in our room.
Chew a Vitamin C pellet daily.
Stay away from chilled, spicy and sour foods..
Sip luke warm water throughout the day..
