What Causes Itching Sensation And Rashes On Penis?

Itchy penis, rough patches. It only itches occasionally, usually in the morning or before bed. The rash or whatever it is is all the way up the shaft and on the tip. But it s not very noticeable just by looking at it, it feels rough like shark skin but looks normal but if I look closely I can see the reddish areas. No discharge or anything abnormal besides the itch and rash. I shower twice a day so I m pretty clean. There was one occasion just before I noticed it where I fell asleep before properly cleaning up after masturbating. Another possibility is that I used a bar of soap which my mom left behind after visiting. Could she have something that I got from the soap, masturbating too much or not cleaning up?

I have gone through your query. Your problem can be due to fungal infection or irritation from chemicals like soaps you use. Avoid soaps and irritants to wash the genital area and instead you can use saline or warm water. Using ointments containing anti fungal agents like miconazole and corticosteroid like hydrocortisone will be helpful for this. Using moisturisers based on liquid paraffin will be helpful to relieve itching from dryness also.
