What Causes Itching On The Tip Of The Nose?

I have something on the tip of my toe..may be some type of infection. Not totally sure but it itches at times and when I scratch, my skin seems to feel rough or hardened. when I apply too much pressure it starts to ooze a lil. if I don t notice it right away (like when I have socks and shoes on all day at work, when I take my sock off to clean it up, whatever oozed out looks yellowish and got hardened/crusty. what could this be?

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of itching on the tip of the nose which caused skin condition is known as irritant dermatitis which occurs due to local irritation. I would suggest you to apply mild corticosteroid like desonide and antibiotic like fusidic acid twice a day. You should take oral prednisolone as well. You should visit dermatologist once and get it examined. Start treatment after proper prescription. You should wash face with a gentle cleanser for face wash such as cetaphil cleansing lotion, twice daily. You should drink plenty of water and eat fresh fruits and vegetables. Avoid taking sharp and fried food. You should apply 1% pimecrolimus, 1% metronidazole gel.
