Hi,
With the given information and my clinical experience, I can say that it could be either
contact dermatitis or eczematised
fungal infection.
As general measures, Avoid scratching your irritated skin. Scratching can make the irritation worse or even cause a skin infection that requires antibiotics.
Clean your skin with mild soap and lukewarm water to remove any irritants. Stop using any products you think might be causing the problem.
Apply bland petroleum jelly like Vaseline to soothe the area. Try using anti-itch treatments such as calamine lotion.
Keep the area dry and use drier for that. If needed, take an antihistamine drug such as
diphenhydramine or Levocetirizine to cut down on itching and to reduce your
allergic response.
Wear cotton undergarments so as to decrease sweating. You might need a course of local and
oral antifungal drugs.
But for that, I would suggest you consult your primary care physician for physical examination of the area and relevant tests to come to a definitive diagnosis.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
