What Causes Itching On The Body?
I have an itch, well it feels like something is moving on my skin, the back of my legs, the tip of my toes and various parts of my feet, my stomach, chest and back, I ve had scabies before and the movement is similar, I went to the emergency room and got prescribed permethrin, I used it but not the whole tube but I did coat my whole body from hairline to the bottom of my feet and the feeling and itching persist I bought tea tree oil also, whenever i use these the feeling and the itch stops but it hasn t gone away completely, I ve washed my clothes and bed linen I don t know what to do?

Permethrin 5% lotion application below neck two times a day and repetation after 7 days will usually treat scabies. If it is not effective then you can start oral Ivermectin along with continuing permethrin. Levocetrizine tablet 12 hourly will help you for itching.
You should wash clothes in hot water, dried under sun light and should keep it separately from other clothes.
One more thing if other family members are also complaining of itching they must be treated otherwise infection get transmitted form one to another and it will be difficult to treat.
