What Causes Itching On The Back After Taking Prolia Shots?

I have been taking prolia shots for the past 4 years and for the past 2 months my back has become very itchy! I constanty scratch it and it goes worse! I saw my dermatologist last week and I told her about the itchy back but I forgot to tell her I was on prolia injections. She did tell me that the itchness wasn t on the skin the itchness was coming from inside, and that is exactly the way it feels. My question to you is, is it possible to develop this itchy skin after 4 years of taking prolia injections? What should I do about it and should I speak to an endocrinologist? Thank you for helping me

Hello,

Hea, it is possible for Prolia to cause itchiness. After that long, peripheral neuropathy may be considered. Discuss with your Endocrinologist for these issues.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
