What Causes Itching Near The Scrotum Post Recovery From Bacterial Infection?

A few weeks ago I was treated for a bacterial infection in my bladder and urethra. It went away. Last night my wife and I had intercourse and now my urethra itches near the base of my scritum inside. I don t feel tired as I did with the infection but also itched then, so I m wondering if the bacterial infection may be back? Could it be just irritation or might my wife have a bacterial infection that is transferring to me. I am 61

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, it may not be the infection but it could be just local irritation but it may not be due to any infection, it can be tried with Di-sodium hydrogen citrate on tentative basis, if this is the local lesion then it will be alright soon hope this information helps.
