What Causes Itching In The Penis Of A Child?
I am director of a church day care program. One of our 4 year old boys has been constantly scratching his penis. The teacher has informed the child s parent of this problem. She suggested that the child be taken to the doctor. This has not happened. What can I write in a letter to the parent that would force him to take the child to the dr. before coming back to school?

thanks for your question. well scratching could be because of balanoprosthitis thats infection at penile tip. also it could be some fungal infection in groin area....or scabies. if it is scabies then other children can also get the same problem. hence doctors visit is essential. if turns out to be scabies then each one from the child's house will require skin treatment.
