What Causes Itching In The Ears?

Everyday for a few years my ears get so itchy. I scratch them with a bobby pin or cotton tip until they bleed and they re still itchy. After a few minutes they start oozing with this white see through liquid. It hardens and smells funny. Doctors have given me drops and creams but it doesn t work. I can t stand the itching anymore, it annoys me at work and during my daily life. What is this? And how do I get rid of it? I really need advice

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello Dear
I evaluated your concern deeply .
@ Itching in ears is related to irritation of mucosal linings through dryness /
scab formation following any bacterial / fungal pathogen .
@ Diagnosis need Otoscopy examination .
@ Supportive helpful measures I would like to narrate here
* No scratching any more with bobby pin , never let it bleed in any condition
* Body has natural tendency to shed off certain dead cells on its own ,
don`t try to disturb that phenomenon by forceful acts .
* Simple & gentle sponging with normal clean cotton cloth after bathing
* Keep a check that soap / noxious chemicals as shampoo don`t go inside
* Ciprofloxacin ear drops 2 drops 4 times a day for 5 days with continuous
application of cotton ball over it , after that Lavender oil drops 2 drops
morning & evening for 15 days as Aeroma therapy .
* Tab. fluconazole (150)mg at night for 2 days as prophylactic antifungal
regimen .
* Follow up after 15 days .
* Avoid exposure to excess cold .
Hope this will definitely help you.
Feel free to ask any further queries anytime.
