What Causes Itching And Slight Discolouration On Scrotum?

I have a slight discoloration (light pink) on my scrotum which has become a burden by it s itch, and what started as a nickel size spot of discoloration has now spread and is almost one half of the scrotum size. What could this be, should i be concerned. It has been going on for over two months.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi
Thank you for asking HCM.
I have gone through your query.Your problem can be due to fungal infection. It is better to show a dermatologist and rule out this. If you send a picture of it then will be more helpful in identifying that. If fungal infection and you were my patient then i would recommend using ointments with combination of antifungal like miconazole and corticosteroid like flucinolone for local application. I also advise fluconazole tab orally weekly once for 1 month to stop recurrence.
Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.
I find this answer helpful
