What Causes Itching And Redness In Hand Of A 2 Year Old?

My two year old daughter has redness on her hand and it is itching. But after couple of days it goes away but may crop up on some other place.. it has been happening since two weeks. We tried to isolate to see whether it was related to food allergy or clothing but didn't have a success yet. Any suggestions ?
