What could cause itching and redness at a past gall bladder removal surgical incision site years after the surgery? The surgery was 6 yrs ago, and was followed up the next year with surgery to repair an incisional hernia. The itching began shortly after that, but was mild. Recently it has been much more of a bother. I was also recently diagnosed with diverticulosis with possible diverticulitis that was treated with antibiotics. Is there any relationship with all this?
