What Causes Itching And Peeling Mole On Arm?

ecently my freckle/mole on my right arm has become very itchy. Not only is it itchy but it started peeling. It is now scabbed over due to itching it I believe. I have also noticed that there was an itch right next to it also. Looked like two bite marks (i thought it was a mosquito) still could be but it never turned into a red bump like the other bites I have. The Mark next to it is scabbed also. Not fully but there is a scab that looks like two bite marks right next to each other. This is still next to the mole or freckle. I also wanted to add that I went to the lake about a week ago and got sunburned. Not badly but a little.

Hello,

Since your wound is itching badly you should clean it with a cotton dabbed in Savlon or Dettol. Apply hydrocortisone ointment or cream on the area affected for relief. You can take an course of non sedating antihistamines to get rid of allergic reaction of the skin to the lake water.

Do not scratch, pick or rub, it will only enlarge the wound and worsen the symptoms. For better healing you should cut on carbohydrates and sugars. Avoid getting into lakes or swimming pools since you have sensitive skin. The mark will go away with time. Cool compress and ring guard ointment is also effective. Do not share your toiletries with anyone.
