What Causes Itchiness And Redness At The Site Of Blood Withdrawal?

I had a standard blood draw in Tuesday and by late Wednesday I had developed an area of redness and itchiness at the site. It has persisted now (is no better or worse) after 3 days. I am not allergic to latex and they did not use Betadine. I am using a cortisone cream on it which gives temporary relief only. thanks.

Hello,

I had gone through the case and found that you should take antiallergic medicine Allegra or cetrizine for three days along with cortisone cream.

If it does not better then consult to skin specialist .

Hope my answer will be effective for you.

Thanks
