What Causes Irritation On Tongue Along With Sensitiveness In Mouth?
I have irritation in my mouth when I ate store bought chicken pot pie the inside of my mouth and tongue became irritated. I have a sandpaper tongue and insides of mouth is sensitive. 3 weeks anything citric salty cinnamon causes irritation i ve been only able to rice and noodle

You developed irritation in mouth along with sensitivity after eating chicken pot pie so probable chances are of food allergy or food intolerance which can cause oral allergy syndrome which will affect mouth, lips and throat.
Other reasons can be there
- Viral infection like herpes, shingles
- Hot Beverage
- Cold sore
- Burning Mouth syndrome
Treatment for this is could be avoidance of food allergens, rinse mouth with strong brewed chamomile tea boiling 3-4 tea bags and slowing them to cool and then use for rinse.
Use of MEGA B VITAMINS will soothen the oral cavity.
Avoid smoking, alcohol and acidic drinks.
Drugs like clonazepam, alpha lipoic acid will give relief.
