What Causes Irritation And Bulged Tissue Near Vaginal Opening Post Intercourse?
Have an irritation in vagina. Near the opening of the vagina there is a small bulging of tissue. This happens after intercourse with husband. Also experiencing some itching and burning in that area. I ve had a partial hysterectomy at age 40. Now at age 47 having the above issue for last 2 months.

I really appreciate your concern, chances of inflammatory changes is very likely and it could be due to friction injury that might have form the wound it may be associated with infection it can be managed with antibiotic locally first and Povidone Iodine is best, hope this information helps.
